Ms. Chithra P. George is admitted to the Bar in India and focuses on international and domestic arbitration and litigation. She is the Standing Counsel of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) before the High Court of Kerala, India. As a lawyer trained in both Asian and European regimes, she is highly passionate about litigation and arbitration and has clientele from all over the world.

Ms. Chithra did her first Masters in Law in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at the National University of Singapore (NUS), securing the NUS Centre for International Law full scholarship and stipend. Having been nominated by NUS based on her academic performance, she pursued her second Masters in Law in International Dispute Settlement at the MIDS, Geneva, a joint programme of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the University of Geneva. She graduated with First Class Honors.

Her passion for this field drove her to intern in three spheres: a) with Dr. Michael Hwang, a renowned arbitrator, b) with Baker McKenzie, a global law firm, and c) with Centre for International Law, an academic think tank under the supervision of Prof. Lucy Reed.

She is also privileged to have stalwarts, Dr. Michael Hwang and Prof. Lucy Reed, as her referees.
