Major (Dr) Guru Prakash K V, an ex-serviceman, did his medical graduation from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences at Sri Siddhartha Medical College. Even during his internship, he was known for his workmanship, good rapport with the patient and keen interest in Psychiatry. He worked in various hospitals including Wockhardt Hospitals, Bangalore before he joined Prestigious Indian Army at Army Medical Corps. He continued to be a good performer in both medical and non medical tasks and always received appreciation and applauds. He was felicitated by various state ministers and local representatives for the tremendous efforts to develop harmony and peace in the counterinsurgency area by helping the needy.
