He did his post-graduate training at PGIMER, Chandigarh, where he obtained his MS (Orthopaedics) and DNB (Orthopaedics) degrees.

He then went to UK for further training in arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery. He completed a four-year higher surgical training programme based at Guy’s Hospital and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. He obtained his FRCS (Glasgow) and FRCS (Orth) degrees.

He has more than 30 years of experience in Orthopaedics. His current practice involves arthroscopy and joint replacement of the knee, hip, shoulder and other joints. In addition, he performs joint preserving surgeries like osteotomy and other reconstructive procedures. He also does computer navigated surgery, robotic joint replacement, revision hip and knee replacement and cartilage grafting procedures.
