He graduated from Bangalore university, Kempe Gowda Institute of medical sciences (KIMS) in1999. From 2002 to 2008 he got trained in different hospitals of NHS UK. From 2008 to 2017, he headed the diabetes and endocrine unit of Almana General Hospital,  Al khobar, Saudi Arabia.

He has extensive experience in managing varied diabetes and endocrine patients and has organised and presented in various seminars.
He is the director of Dr Ahmed’s Thyroid Endo Diabetes (DATED) centre, R T Nagar, Bengaluru and visiting consultant in HBS hospital , shivaji nagar
V care Hospital, R t nagar and Fortis La Femme Hospital Richmond Road.
